Description:
Mativ is actively searching for a Finance Intern for the Munising, Michigan facility. Ideal candidates have the attitude, initiative and excellent interpersonal skills to support Mativ’s collaborative, high-achievement culture.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Finance/Accounting team and local management
- Analyze, review, and assist in developing mill related reports as required
- Assist in month-end closing process and provide accurate cost information
- Assist with preparing commonly run reports through Oracle/ERP systems
- Assist in financial reporting, accruals, and general ledger data clean-up
Qualifications:
Required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Working toward a degree in Finance or Accounting
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
- Energetic and eager to tackle and drive new projects and ideas
