About the role
The Food Equity Program (FEP) funds two student workers as Food Equity Coordinators (FECs), responsible for managing and expanding food recovery on and off Loyola University Chicago’s campus. FECs coordinate and execute the donation of landfill-destined food from Loyola’s dining halls to A Just Harvest food pantry. FECs work to expand food recovery efforts around the Rogers Park community by maintaining relations with food pantries and donors, including local restaurants, small businesses, event centers, and community gardens.
