Dates for the 2027 season are forthcoming. Applicants are expected to be available for all scheduled games, including make-up games.

ELIGIBILITY: Active high school junior/senior seeking diploma or college student enrolled in 2-4 year degree program | DATES: May 25 - July 31, 2027 (exact dates to be confirmed) | COMPENSATION: Unpaid internships, college credit eligible
| HOUSING: The Charlottesville Tom Sox are unable to provide intern housing. If selected, interns are responsible for arranging housing in the Charlottesville area | COMMITMENT: Full availability for the entire summer season is required; frequent or repeated time-off requests cannot be accommodated

The Tom Sox Game Operations Internship Program combines game-day operations and fan engagement, giving students hands-on experience running a professional-style game day from setup through the final out — including merchandise, admissions, on-field promotions, and fan interaction.
Required Qualifications:
- Comfortable interacting with fans, including children and adults
- Available to attend all home games, including make-up games
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with sports management or marketing field
- Strong oral communication skills
- Basic understanding of baseball
