Job Overview
The Hubbell Internship Program is a 10 to 12-week program providing students the opportunity to gain corporate experience, learn about all aspects of our business, and prepare students with the kind of experience needed to have a rewarding career at Hubbell.
This intern will focus on supporting packaging engineering and sourcing initiatives by assisting with packaging optimization, testing, supplier evaluations, sustainability programs, and cost-reduction projects that improve packaging performance, transportation efficiency, and product protection across the enterprise.

What will help you thrive in this role?
- Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the internship program period (May-August 2027), pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree related to the internship (Packaging Engineering) (required)
- Minimum 3.0 GPA (required)
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with relevant software and systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred.
- Coursework, project, or internship experience in packaging design, testing, CAD tools, data analysis, sustainability, or manufacturing/supply chain environments preferred. Interest in packaging optimization, strategic sourcing, and continuous improvement highly preferred.
