The Honors Program is looking for an Honors Office Clerk. The Office Clerk will work 10 hours per week in the Honors office, assisting the Honors Director and Honors Administrative Assistant/Advisor with any or all of the following duties.

Responsibilities:

• Recruitment messaging.
• Interacting with honor students, potential students, and parents.
• Answering phones and responding to and sending emails and other correspondence.
• Attend appropriate meetings; answering programmatic questions.
• Creating and sending thank you notes; managing office files and social media.
• Keeping the Honors Commons and Headquarters clean and stocked.
• Representing the honors program.
• Other office related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Preference given to current Honors students who are knowledgeable about the honors program and who regularly engage in activities relating to the Honors Program.
• Ideal candidates are positive, approachable, and proactive in problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail are a must, graphic design skills are desired but not required.
