As a Hospitality Management Intern, you’ll be immersed in the day-to-day operations of contract food service, developing practical skills and industry insight that will set the stage for your future success.

What You'll Learn: You'll rotate through different areas of the business to gain a well-rounded understanding of hospitality management, including: Operations - Learn how day-to-day hospitality operations run, including guest experience, employee engagement, menu planning, staffing, and business performance. Marketing - Gain experience with signage, branding, social media, special events, and other marketing efforts that drive guest engagement.

Purchasing & Quality Assurance - Learn about vendor partnerships, sourcing, inventory management, food safety, quality standards, and cost control. Finance - Build an understanding of hospitality finance through exposure to budgeting, financial reporting, revenue tracking, and key business metrics. Culinary - Gain hands-on experience with kitchen operations, recipe execution, service flow, and culinary best practices.

Catering & Events - Learn the ins and outs of catering and event management, including sales support, event logistics, staffing, and event execution for both small and large events. Additional Opportunities & Responsibilities Visit other accounts to see different operations and gain exposure to the full scope of the business. Complete a capstone project focused on improving an aspect of the operation and presenting your recommendations.

Deliver excellent customer service and contribute to a positive guest experience. Follow company policies, safety standards, and client expectations. Internship candidates must meet the criteria below to be eligible for the Culinary Internship

Experience Program: Applicants must be currently enrolled in a college or professional culinary program Meet university’s GPA requirement for internship Successful completion of sanitation standards training Successful completion of relevant knife skills and/or Intro to Culinary coursework Must be available to work 20 - 40 hours a week based on business needs & internship requirements College credit is not required, but we will provide appropriate documentation if necessary. Hospitality Internship candidates must meet the criteria below to be eligible for the Hospitality Internship
