Job Summary As the HR Intern you will support our Human Resources team including operations, recruiting, onboarding, talent development, and HR project work. This role offers hands-on exposure to core HR functions and is well suited to a junior student exploring a career in human resources.

Job Description We are looking for an HR Intern to support key Human Resources functions, including recruiting, onboarding, talent development, HR operations, and project work. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of HR while building valuable skills for a future career in Human Resources. The internship dates are June 7, 2027 through August 6, 2027.

This internship is a full-time, remote opportunity requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. Candidates must be available during core business hours for the entire 9-week duration of the program. Please note that all work must be performed within the United States.

What You'll Do Rotate through job shadowing across HR functional areas such as Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, and HRIS/People Analytics to gain a cross-functional view of HR Assist with job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling Support new hire onboarding, including documentation Support accurate and confidential employee records in compliance with data retention policies Support data-driven decision-making by helping collect, organize, and analyze workforce data, including headcount, turnover, and engagement, and translate findings into clear reports for leadership Contribute to the development of content that highlights CAI's culture, career opportunities, and value proposition as an employer of choice Assist with HR projects related to employee engagement, benefits, and training Support compliance tracking as needed Use AI-powered HR tools What You'll Need Required: Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field Current Junior with a 3.5 GPA or higher Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee information Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and AI tools Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Physical Demands Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor Must be able to communicate with customers and team members over the phone and in person Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time, with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. Reasonable accommodation statement If you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to application.accommodations@cai.io or (888) 824 – 8111. The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
