About the role
Your Contribution
As a HVAC Engineering Intern - Validation Test Support reporting to Head of AC Application Engineering.
This role is responsible to:
- Evaluate customer specifications and establish component test plans
- Work with Test Lab Techs to run standard tests and document results
- Design special fixtures where needed to facilitate testing
- Run airflow test equipment as needed to evaluate HVAC module performance
- Support HVAC module builds as needed to help optimize design and assembly
- Support Warranty Analysis of returned components
Your Experience & Qualifications
- Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Currently enrolled in Sophomore or Junior year.
- Familiarity with CAD, 3D printing, other computer aided tools like CFD or FEA.
- Formal problem solving training is helpful.
