Launch Your Surgical Career with Hands-On Operating Room Experience
Are you currently enrolled in a Surgical Technology program and eager to gain real-world experience in the operating room? Join our team as a Surgical Technologist Student and work alongside experienced surgeons, nurses, and surgical professionals while developing the skills needed for a successful career in surgical services.
This position provides an excellent opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in a fast-paced healthcare environment, gain exposure to a variety of surgical procedures, and learn from a highly skilled surgical team dedicated to exceptional patient care.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with preparing operating rooms for surgical procedures.
- Help gather, organize, and maintain surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Observe and participate in surgical procedures under the supervision of qualified staff.
- Support sterile technique and infection prevention practices.
- Assist with patient positioning and operating room setup.
- Learn proper instrument handling, surgical workflows, and operating room protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe surgical environment.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and fellow team members to support outstanding patient care.
Qualification:
Education-
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Surgical Technology program required.
Experience-
- Previous healthcare experience is helpful but not required.
Certifications-
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Compensation-
Hourly Range- Starting at $18
