- Prepare contrast media and medications as directed by a supervising technologist.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas and dressing rooms.
- Transport patients to and from medical imaging.
- Assist in moving patients to, from and between radiographic tables, stretchers and wheelchairs.
- Assist patients with general comfort care.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required.
Preferred Experience:
- Current student in XRay program
