- Prepares for and assists the supervising technologists and physicians in a variety of imaging procedures.
- Prepares contrast media and medications as directed by a supervising technologist.
- Assists in maintaining a clean, safe and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas and dressing rooms.
- Transports patients to and from medical imaging. Assists in moving patients to, from and between radiographic tables, stretchers and wheelchairs. Assists patients with general comfort care.
- Completes paper and computer workflow procedures as directed by a supervising technologist.
Licensure / Certification / Registration
- Required Credential(s):
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education
- High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline.
