About the role

The Whiting School of Engineering is seeking an Intellectual Property Intern to provide project-based support to the Engineering Design Center by assisting with the completion and finalization of the Intellectual Property (IP) training modules. The position provides basic administrative and operational support for a specific program within a department. The position supports the planning and daily operations of the program.

Specific

Duties & Responsibilities \* Provide support for outreach activities and internal events; assist with preparation of materials, set-up and breakdown, and participate as needed at events and activities. \* Assist with data entry, report production, and basic analysis of program results. \* Assist with development and distribution of program communications. \* Respond to or elevate questions and provide customer service through email and by phone. \* Contact service personnel or other resources for program needs. \* Monitor supply inventory and order supplies. \* Operate and coordinate the servicing of office equipment. \* Other duties as assigned. In addition to the duties described above \* Review and edit PowerPoint presentations for accuracy, consistency, formatting, and overall quality. \* Conduct quality assurance reviews of audio recordings to ensure clarity, accuracy, and synchronization with presentation content. \* Identify, document, and implement revisions to instructional materials. \* Assist with proofreading and finalizing training modules prior to publication. \* Collaborate with the project team to ensure all content meets established quality standards and project deadlines. \* Support the successful completion and delivery of the Intellectual Property (IP) training module project. Qualifications \* High school diploma or graduation equivalent. \* Six months of related experience. \* Additional education may substitute for required experience to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Preferred Qualifications \* Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. \* Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and other presentation software. \* Excellent written and verbal communication skills. \* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a project team. \* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
