Job Summary
The intern will gain valuable experience within a corporate environment and will have the opportunity to work closely with Corporate, Revenue, and Operations Accounting teams. This role is designed for a candidate with strong analytical and technical skills who is passionate about leveraging data, automation, and emerging AI tools to improve business processes. Assignments may include automating workflows, developing reporting solutions, analyzing large datasets, and enhancing the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of accounting processes. Successful candidates will be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, business-driven environment while learning how data and technology support accounting operations.
Job Specific Skills
- Basic understanding of or academic experience with Python, SQL, R, or similar tools, with a strong interest in continued learning
- Strong interest in workflow automation and process improvement using tools such as AI copilots, data pipelines, Power Automate, or similar technologies
- Exposure to Power BI or similar data visualization and reporting tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work with large datasets and identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities
- High attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy, quality, and consistency
- Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly, work collaboratively, and manage multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical or analytical concepts to business partners
- Ability to formulate and communicate practical, cost-effective ideas to improve accounting processes and reporting
Education
Minimum: Bachelor's degree - from accredited university - Pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university in Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
Minimum: Other - Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
