Intern (Dirty Films, Los Angeles)

Dirty Films |Los Angeles Dirty Films (MRS. AMERICA, CAROL, FINGERNAILS, SHAYDA) is an independent film, television and podcast production company. We’re looking for interns to support our film and TV development team.

Responsibilities include research, coverage, administrative tasks, and providing feedback and assistance on various projects in development. The ideal candidate is highly personable, detail-oriented, professional, and eager to learn. In addition to gaining coverage experience, interns will get the opportunity to witness firsthand how the development process works.

Interns are expected to come into our Studio City office three days per week (9:30 am-4:30 pm). Time commitment may vary, but 20 hours a week can be expected. Internships | Summer 2027 Penn undergraduate students may apply to a maximum of two (2) internships.

For each application, students must submit a single PDF containing their résumé and a one-page, double-spaced cover letter explaining why they wish to intern with the selected employer(s). Applications should be sent in by Friday, March 5, 2027, to Nicola M. Gentili.

Junior Cinema & Media Studies Majors and Minors have priority to be selected for the internships. 2027 Graduating Seniors are *not* permitted to apply for the internships. Penn Cinema & Media Studies offers a $5,000 stipend to the recipient of the internship to help with travel and housing. This stipend is *not* to be considered as wages.
