What You'll Do:

Discover more about phosphate at Nutrien! This is an open posting for Environmental Science Students interested in internship positions at our White Springs, Florida Phosphate facility.

This is a temporary, full-time, hourly paid position open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete. This position is not available for remote work

Work will be both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Outside the office, standard work wear will consist of hard hats, safety boots, safety glasses and ear plugs, with other items as needed; these items will be provided.

Dates/Terms:

Summer Internship: May 26, 2027 - August 14, 2027 (End dates may be adjusted to coincide with school terms).

Housing/Relocation:

Housing is provided for students whose summer residence is more than 75 miles from the site.

Relocation is not provided for this internship.

What you will do:

• Assist the site with various duties, including:

• Provide support for the Environmental Department including water management, air quality management, GIS, natural resource management, and lake restoration management
• Project Work
• Advancing process related projects
• Troubleshoot process problems
• Inspecting chemical processing equipment.

What You'll Bring:

• Currently enrolled and in an Environmental or equivalent related program with a graduation date of May 2028 or later
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Must be able to work outdoors, and around potentially hazardous chemicals
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
