Intern, Epidemiology, Data Science & Evaluation Fully Remote

Position: Intern, Epidemiology, Data Science & Evaluation (Fully Remote) Extract, analyze, and summarize prevalence, mortality, and health care utilization data using national datasets like NHANES, NHIS, and CDC WONDER. Assist with the collection, management, analysis, and reporting of cardiovascular disease and stroke-related data for scientific publications. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, analytic documentation, and process guides for quality assurance and reproducibility.

Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, Statistics, or a related field with coursework in epidemiologic methods and statistics. Working knowledge of cloud-based SAS and R statistical software, and experience using approved AI tools for data analysis is preferred. Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities.
