About the role
What you'll do
- Support software development, testing, documentation, and technical research tasks across active engineering projects
- Help build prototypes, scripts, simulations, dashboards, tools, or test environments under engineer supervision
- Assist with data collection, analysis, debugging, and validation activities
- Contribute to internal demonstrations, technical documentation, and project deliverables
- Learn from engineers working across simulation, XR, cybersecurity, AI, and systems engineering disciplines
What we're looking for
- Current enrollment in an engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, mathematics, physics, or related technical program
- Programming or technical project experience in Python, C#, C++, JavaScript, MATLAB, or a similar language
- Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn across technical domains
- Ability to communicate progress, blockers, and technical questions clearly
- US Citizenship
Nice to have
- Coursework or project experience in software development, modeling and simulation, cybersecurity, XR, computer vision, applied AI, or systems engineering
- Experience with Git, Linux, Unity, Unreal Engine, MATLAB/Simulink, CAD, electronics, networking, or cloud tools
- Interest in defense technology, mission systems, or government R&D
- Prior internship, research, capstone, or personal project experience
