Key Accountabilities

  • Contribute to the build out of financial models and support financial analysis
  • Conduct company and industry research
  • Prepare client materials and pitch presentations
  • Participate in diligence sessions, client meetings, and internal discussions
  • Collaborate with senior bankers across sectors and geographies
  • Support the development of junior team members
  • Support live transactions within a product or industry coverage group
  • Participate in ongoing coaching, mentorship, and feedback throughout the program
  • Follow Wells Fargo risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures
  • Monitor, identify, escalates, and remediate risk and compliance issues

Requirements

  • 6+ months of Investment Banking Program experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Bachelor's degree with expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2027
  • Successful completion of the 2026 Investment Banking Analyst Program
  • Strong academic achievement
  • Demonstrated interest in finance and financial markets
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proven ability to take on significant responsibility
  • Relevant internship experience
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States
  • Must not require work visa sponsorship from Wells Fargo now or in the future
  • Must successfully complete and pass a FINRA background check prior to hire
  • Must meet ongoing FINRA regulatory obligations, including periodic screening and mandatory reporting
  • Must not be subject to statutory disqualification under FINRA rules
