Intern - Marketing and Financial Services

Company Description Design Financial Plan is a small company that provides independent financial planning, financial advice, and investment management services, life insurance, and brokerage services. The firm focuses on helping clients build and protect wealth through customized, client-centered strategies. This setting offers interns exposure to real-world financial services practices and industry regulations.

Role Description The Intern – This is an internship position based in University Heights, OH. Intern will support marketing initiatives with an opporunity to build a brand almost from scratch by leading campaign development, digital and traditional outreach, and content. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, analyzing campaign data.

The goal is to generate an online presence for the brand that generates qualified leads. Intern will assist with client administration. This is a paid internship.

Qualifications Strong Communication and Customer Service skills. Ability to work independently and take the initiative. Demonstrated interest in Marketing Demonstrated interest in Finance / Financial Services / Investments Ability to conduct Market Research and contribute to Marketing Strategy initiatives within financial services.

Interest in supporting Sales activities, including lead follow-up and outreach under guidance. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Finance, Business, or a related field.

Experience with Ai. Proficiency with common office and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, presentation software). Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, and learn new concepts quickly. Must be able to pass a FINRA background check. Interest in becoming a Financial Advisor is desireable
