About the role
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Essential Functions
- Support Quality Assurance with product and process quality activities for new and existing products.
- Collect, organize, and analyze quality data; support identification of trends, nonconformities, and opportunities for improvement.
- Help prepare and maintain quality documentation, including plans, Inspections.
- Participate in process audits, and continuous-improvement projects as assigned.
- Work collaboratively with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations to promote quality, safety, and on-time delivery.
Skills and Competencies
- Basic understanding of quality principles, manufacturing processes, and engineering drawings.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Comfort using data to support decisions and continuous improvement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Education
Degree: Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field, with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
Minimum Year: Entering Junior Year.
