Internship - Tuberculosis Outreach
DCHHS · Dallas, TX 75207
About the role
Dallas County Health and Human Services offers internship opportunities for graduate, undergraduate and high-school students of all skill levels interested in learning more about public health operations and careers. The students will observe how theoretical concepts are applied on a day-to-day basis and will put the skills they learn in the classroom to work.
Many of our interns have little or no experience working in the public health field. We place interns from many academic disciplines. Although most of our interns study Public Health, Health Sciences, and other related majors, internships are often available for students with other concentrations.
We currently have opportunities in the following areas:
- Chronic Disease
- Communications
- Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program
- Employee Services
- Environmental Health
- Epidemiology/Communicable Disease *(Interns must be 18 years old and MPH students only)*
