Washington Heights Veterinary Clinic is an ideal setting for high school students completing clinical hours toward their Veterinary Assistant Certification due to its exceptional hands-on learning environment guided by a highly skilled and knowledgeable team of professionals. Qualifications:

• Must be currently enrolled in a TVMA-accredited veterinary high school program (or equivalent)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must submit a CV or resume
• Must have parental/guardian consent if under the age of 18
• Must be able to lift and carry objects and animals up to 40 pounds
• GPA of 3.5 or higher
• Must maintain good attendance, be engaged, and demonstrate professionalism throughout the course of the internship
