Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program

Hyde Park Capital is seeking candidates for its 2027 Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program. Our competitive Summer Analyst program offers exposure to sourcing and execution of mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and other financial advisory assignments. Summer Analysts are treated as valuable team members, while learning from experienced professionals in a collaborative, fun, and dynamic environment. Our mentorship program gives Summer Analysts an opportunity to network throughout Hyde Park Capital, with significant exposure and collaboration to junior and senior investment bankers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Building financial models and performing valuation analysis
• Conducting industry and company due diligence
• Creating industry reports and client presentations
• Supporting deal execution and pitch processes

Location and Availability:

• Located in our Tampa office, Summer Analysts must be able to work full-time during the summer. We are seeking students who can start at the end of May 2027.

Qualifications:

• Strong academic record (GPA > 3.5) and an interest in Finance (Accounting, Business Economics and Finance concentrations are preferred but not mandatory); Targeting a graduation date of May 2028
• A general understanding of financial statements and valuations of public and private businesses
• Superior analytical skills, financial acumen, and strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet specific deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability with a drive for continuous improvement
• A strong work ethic, desire to work in a fast-paced professional environment, and the ability to learn quickly
• Previous experience in investment banking is preferred
