Job Summary
This is an internship position at CITGO Petroleum Corporation Headquarters, Houston, TX.
As an Information Technology End User Computing Intern, you will have the opportunity to expand your IT knowledge and experience. Initial responsibilities include assisting with technical services and projects provided by the EUC Team. During this time, you will work on personal computer hardware setups and delivery, computer software support, troubleshooting computer related problems, and assist senior team members on various department and corporate wide projects. You will also become familiar with IT policies, processes, and procedures.
All candidates typically have a demonstrated interest in technology and business, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Graduate degree program in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field of study, with a sophomore classification (second-year students) or higher.
- Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
- Working knowledge of personal computer software/hardware and network technology.
- Outgoing, team oriented, and goal driven.
- Communicate and interact effectively with all levels in the Corporation
