Laboratory Analyst – Night Shift (Oxnard, CA)

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

• A BS or BA in the biological sciences or related field (required)
• Proficiency with data entry and computer applications
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory

Laboratory Analyst duties include analysis of food samples for pathogens via PCR and immunoassay, various microbe enumerations, data entry, laboratory reporting, quality control, media preparation, and other duties as assigned.

The pay for this position is $23.00 hourly (plus $2 night shift differential from 10:00pm to 6:00am). The schedule for this position is Tuesday through Friday, from 6:00pm to 2:30am and Saturday, from 6:00pm to 1:30am (including an unpaid 30 minute meal break).
