About the job
Our Internship Program exposes law students to the rewarding practice of municipal law. Students enrolled in an accredited law school can apply. We place each intern on a legal team focused on a specific area of law. We aim to pair students with a team that aligns with their professional interests.

Deputy City Attorneys supervise and mentor interns on a variety of legal research and writing projects. Depending on their assignments, interns may attend client meetings, trials, and hearings. Interns also take part in events, tours, and lectures.
All legal internship positions are unpaid. Contact your law school to check if you qualify to earn academic credit.
