About the role

Crag considers hosting legal externships during the fall and spring semesters depending on our attorneys’ need and capacity for law student externs. Sometimes we decide not to offer legal externships. Please see below for whether we are currently accepting inquiries for externships and details for how to apply.

Law student externs typically work 15–20 hours per week for the duration of their academic semester or trimester. Externship positions are unpaid and are generally performed for credit from the student’s institution. Fully remote externships will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

If you are a law student interested in a spring semester legal externship, please email jobs[at]crag.org. In your email, please provide a brief statement of interest and a single pdf document that includes your resumé, short writing sample (3-5 pages), and two references. Inquiries for spring externships must be received between October 15th and November 15th; decisions will be made by December 1st.
