This position provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the legislative process while developing practical skills in legal research, policy analysis, legislative drafting, and advocacy.
The Legal Intern will work closely with the Government Affairs team to support legislative initiatives that advance Texas agriculture and rural communities. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY Conducting legal and policy research on proposed legislation, regulatory matters, and emerging issues affecting agriculture. Reviewing, analyzing, and tracking legislation throughout the legislative process.
