Life Enrichment Internship
*Hours: Monday-Friday, 4–8 pm; weekends, 12–8 pm (Hours may vary)*
Interns will primarily participate in leisure and recreational activities with one specific site. Hours may vary slightly depending on the schedule of the individual the intern is working with at Harry Meyering. Interns should plan on coming for at least two hours unless other arrangements have been made with the site supervisor.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with crafts, reading, outings, cooking, and other activities
- Supporting individuals in skill-building, such as math or reading
- Planning to work a minimum of two hours per shift
Internship Requirements
All interns must:
- Be at least 18 years of age or have written parent/guardian approval
- Complete an orientation and possibly a background check or TB screening
- Arrange their own transportation to and from HMC
