Mechanical Engineering Internship, Summer 2027

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you'll be a valued member of a collaborative engineering team where your ideas, curiosity, and technical skills can make a real impact.

You'll gain exposure to the full product development process, from design and testing to documentation and implementation. What You’ll Be Doing Partner with engineers and cross-functional teams to support product development activities and contribute to both team and individual project work. Assist with engineering builds and testing, helping validate designs and support the development of new products and solutions.

Work on assigned design and development tasks, taking ownership of deliverables and supporting technical documentation and reporting. Create and evaluate mechanical designs, applying engineering principles and problem-solving skills to real-world challenges. Collaborate with external suppliers and vendors to support component procurement and project execution while gaining exposure to industry best practices.

What We're Looking For Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, with junior standing or higher by Summer 2027. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics; experience with solid modeling and product design is a plus. Strong problem-solving, technical writing, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach and eagerness to learn from others. Goal-oriented, enthusiastic, and self-motivated, with a desire to gain hands-on engineering experience in a fast-paced environment. Our internship hourly ranges are from $22- $26, and determined by the completed year in school/ relevant education or training.
