Mechanical I - Intern Nuclear

Individual will be relied upon to perform a variety of engineering and design activities involving power plant upgrades and/or new power plant projects under the supervision of senior engineering staff. Individual should have working knowledge of evaluation, selection and application of standard engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria. Individual will assist with performing calculations, modifications, and designs.

Individual must possess technical knowledge of mechanical discipline and ability to work on project teams with other engineers to assist in evaluating conditions and developing design changes which will improve plant performance, safety, and reliability.

Education Required (min)

Experience Required (min) Preferred Certification(s) or License(s): BS in mechanical, chemical, or nuclear engineering from an ABET accredited university. Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles for application in solving problems. Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is desirable
