About the role

Hispanic Family Foundation is seeking a motivated and mission-driven Intern to support our growing programs and community initiatives. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit operations, community outreach, and program development while making a meaningful impact in the lives of local families.

Responsibilities Interns may assist with a variety of projects, including: • Supporting HFF community programs and events • Assisting with outreach to families, volunteers, and community partners • Helping coordinate children’s activities and family programs • Assisting with social media, newsletters, and communications • Helping with event planning • Data entry and maintaining program records or contact databases • Assisting with general office duties such as organizing materials, filing, preparing mailings, and administrative support • Supporting the HFF team with day-to-day nonprofit operations

Qualifications • Passion for serving families and strengthening communities • Strong communication and organizational skills • Attention to detail and ability to complete administrative tasks accurately • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Interest in nonprofit work, education, social services, or community leadership • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required • Comfortable working with children and families What Interns Will Gain • Real-world nonprofit and community leadership experience • Opportunities to network with local leaders and organizations • Experience in event planning, outreach, nonprofit administration, and community engagement • Mentorship and guidance in nonprofit and community work • A meaningful opportunity to make a difference in the Hispanic community Time Commitment Flexible schedule based on intern availability (approximately 8–15 hours per week).
