Nuclear Intern - Electrical/I&C Design (North Anna)

Job Summary

North Anna Power Station (Nuclear) located in Mineral, VA is looking for an Mechanical Engineering intern to work in it's Mechanical Design department the summer of 2027. Job duties will include:

• Development of technical documents to evaluate equipment failures and other plant conditions.
• Evaluation of equipment performance trends including field walkdowns.
• Development of minor design changes to support station reliability improvements.
• Support development of major design changes to support long-term station reliability improvements.
• Support station departments with technical input on a variety of equipment-related concerns.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Must be able to follow instructions and be a team player

Must have strong verbal and written communications skills

Education Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled as a student in an ABET accredited Electrical Engineering program at a four-year college or university
• Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
• Must have an anticipated graduation date of December 2028 or Later
