Primary Patient Population Stroke Rehabilitation Primary Skills Utilized/learned Neurological assessments Adaptive ADLs Transfer/Mobility training Vital signs, IVs, Foley Catheter insertion/removal, Wound care, etc. Personnel Nurse Intern Will Work With RNs, LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, Social Workers/Case Management, Respiratory Therapy, PT/OT, Speech Therapy, Art & Music Therapy, Dieticians Number Of Beds On Unit 14 beds MetroHealth offers industry-leading benefits, including tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment, professional certification incentives, and medical/dental insurance. Required Qualifications

Enrolled in an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation). Completed fundamentals of nursing Currently registered in clinical rotations Continuous enrollment in a nursing program Eligibility to continue in the position is a maximum of 6 months upon graduating from nursing school Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtains within 90 days of hire.
