Internship Program Want to see what it’s really like in the nonprofit world? Join the Summer Internship Program at The Pablove Foundation. We are looking for a few good men and women to join Pablove from mid June through September.
You’ll have the opportunity to see the inner workings of a creative, dynamic nonprofit organization, and contribute to a deeply meaningful mission. Along the way you’ll join staff meetings, brown bag lunches, and prepare a final presentation. We host a killer summer interns bbq, and you’re the guest of honor! *The Pablove Foundation’s* *mission is to invest in underfunded, cutting-edge pediatric cancer research and improve the lives of children living with cancer through the arts.* Pablove Foundation Development Intern This is your chance to learn all about the fundraising arm of a nonprofit.
The Development team ensures that we can fight childhood cancer with love. That means funding important pediatric cancer research, putting cameras into the hands of kids and teens affected by cancer, and bringing Pablove Shutterbugs to different cities across the nation. The Pablove Foundation is looking for a Development Intern to join our team for 12-15 hours per week, during our summer internship session.
Responsibilities: Assisting with event logistics and research. Attending fundraising events; participating in staging and managing events. Researching and contacting potential corporate and in-kind partners.
Administrative tasks related to Development (e.g. mailings and filing). Data entry and database cleanup. Must haves: Experience using Mac computers, Google Drive, and Microsoft Office Suite Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills: must be comfortable making cold calls and soliciting donations Strong drive, initiative, and commitment Enthusiasm and passion for the Pablove cause: fighting childhood cancer with love!
Location: This internship position will be based in Pablove’s headquarters office, in Hollywood California. You must live in or be willing to relocate to Los Angeles for the summer. Course Credit is available upon request.
