Seasonal Hiring Events Fast-track your job search at a "one-and-done" hiring event hosted by Denton Parks and Recreation: Denton Civic Center 321 E. McKinney St. Thursday, April 9th 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
How to participate Step 1: Browse current job openings Visit our online job postings and apply digitally to view seasonal Parks and Recreation job openings. Positions for the April 9th Hiring event include: Camp Counselor - For ages 18+ and must have a valid driver's license ($17.39/hour) Camp Supervisor - For ages 18+ and must have a valid driver's license($21.30/hour) *Many jobs require no prior experience!* View Jobs and Apply Step 2: Apply online Find a position that suits you and complete the short online application. Look for the green "apply" button within each job description. Computers and staff are available to assist you with applying for a position at our hiring event, but you can speed up the hiring process by applying in advance. *All hiring event attendees must complete an application before interviewing.* Step 3: Attend the hiring event Gather the items below and see us at the Denton Civic Center between 4 p.m. to 7 p.m on Thursday, April 9th. Following a brief interview, qualified applicants may be asked to complete a background check and drug test onsite.
Applicants MUST bring: Driver's license or state photo ID Social Security card -OR- certified birth certificate -OR- passport-OR- any documents from the acceptable documents list A parent or guardian (for applicants ages 16-17 only) to authorize background check/drug screening View Jobs and Apply Can't make it to an event?
