Performance Director's Assistant Accompanist

Welcome, Creative Edge Academy is looking for an assistant to the performance director as well as an accompanist for the academy. This position works hand and hand with the performance director and is the accompanist for students who take lessons privately as well as for the youth ensemble. This applicant must be comfortable working with all ages but is comfortable adopting the instruction style set by the performance director.

This person will also be required to learn the administrative side of Creative Edge in case the need to act in the Performance Directors behalf. Requirements: ability to read music ability to play in multiple styles vocal and piano coaching experience is a plus but one of the two required understanding of Google and its conglomerate of apps Job Types: Internship, Part-time Pay: $13.50 per hour Schedule: Day shift Evening shift Ability to commute/relocate: Merrillville, IN 46410: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: Teaching: 1 year (Preferred) Playing Piano: 4 years (Required) Work Location: In person
