Pharmacy Research Intern/Asst (Student Position)

Summary of Position: Support clinical research activities across all phases of study development and execution.

Responsibilities include completion of required research compliance and training; assisting with institutional review board (IRB) submissions and documentation; identifying and screening eligible study cases; conducting electronic medical record chart reviews to extract and enter study variables into data management software; performing basic statistical analyses; and contributing to dissemination of findings through abstract and manuscript development for presentation and publication. Position Requirements: Enrolled in the PharmD program Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Complete all required research and regulatory training to support study conduct and compliance. Assist with preparation and submission of Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications and related study documentation.

Identify and screen eligible study participants/cases according to established inclusion and exclusion criteria. Perform electronic health record (EHR) chart review to collect, abstract, and accurately enter study variables into designated data management platforms. Conduct basic statistical analyses and assist with interpretation of study findings.

Contribute to dissemination of research through preparation and development of abstracts, posters, presentations, and/or manuscripts for scholarly publication.
