About the role
Photography Intern Can you capture life through the lens? Can you tell stories through images? *Green Living* magazine is seeking talented, creative student photographers who will have a direct impact on the visual appeal of this publication. This unpaid internship offers an opportunity to build a portfolio and expand on photography and image-editing skills while exploring the world of sustainability and living green.
Interns will be supervised by the Associate Editor and Creative Director and will work both independently and with writers on assignments. Qualified applicants are students of photography who can provide samples of their work. They must have their own equipment, including a quality camera and access to Photoshop.
Students must demonstrate a level of professionalism, organization, and adherence to deadline necessary for success in the publishing industry. Other desired qualifications: self-motivation, ability to work with writers and design team, a basic understanding of sustainability and green lifestyle, ability to converse with subjects and accurately capture necessary information at photoshoots, ability to take direction and desire to improve.
