Poetry Internship

Responsibilities:

Work under the direct supervision of the ATHICA Board and Executive Committee to assist in development and implementation of poetry-related programming for ATHICA.

Requirements:

Strong written and spoken communication skills; ability to work both independently and under structured supervision; strong interest in poetry and experience as a poet and / or in creation of poetry publications or events.

Schedule:

Flexible. Minimum five hours a week. Some evenings and weekends for events as needed. If the applicant would like to get UGA school credit, their individual department policies would address total hours. Based on individual situation, a plan would be developed for the goals and duration of the internship
