About the role
Description
This is an unpaid, volunteer position. Interns work closely with the Senior Policy Analyst and meet weekly with the Research and Policy Director. They attend weekly research group meetings and are expected to also assist PIs and administrative staff with projects as they arise.
Previous Intern Projects
- Drafting policy briefs
- Editing and preparing manuscripts for publication
- Conducting literature reviews for grant proposals
- Working on our website
- Preparing conference presentation
Application Deadlines
- Spring Semester: November 1st
- Summer: March 1st
- Fall Semester: July 1st
Start Date
Flexible, but we would like the school year intern to start no later than early September or early January, and the summer intern no later than mid-May.
Minimum Commitment
- 10-16 hrs/week during the school year
- 20 hrs/week during the summer
