Internship Application Periods: Fall 2026: Application period to be announced. The Office of Cable Television, Film, Music and Entertainment (OCTFME) offers exciting year-round internship opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students. Our internships provide meaningful, hands-on experience through guided instruction, one-on-one mentoring, and professional job-shadowing across multiple departments.
Many of our interns have launched successful careers at top media and entertainment organizations after starting right here with us. Academic credit may be earned upon satisfactory completion of the program. Academic credit may be earned for satisfactory completion of the internship program.
OCTFME hosts interns year-round in the following departments: PRODUCTION EDITOR INTERNSHIPS The production editor internship takes students who are in search of real world experience in the edit suite and piece together timely projects for the three District of Columbia networks, OCTFME agency websites and social media distribution.
