Production Planner/Buyer

CoWorx is seeking a Production Planner / Buyer in the Danvers, MA area! This position will play a critical role in keeping production on schedule, materials flowing, and customers satisfied in a highly organized, high-tech manufacturing environment. Shift: Monday-Friday (Flexible 8:00 AM-5:00 PM) | | Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery commitments - Manage inventory, material planning, and purchasing activities - Coordinate production orders, RMAs, and supplier deliveries - Provide lead times and scheduling updates to Sales and Engineering teams - Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms - Resolve supplier quality and delivery issues - Conduct cycle counts and support physical inventory activities - Drive continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives - Maintain accurate production, inventory, and purchasing records | | Desired Background/Skills: - 7+ years of experience in production planning, purchasing, scheduling, or supply chain management - Manufacturing experience required - Strong supplier negotiation and vendor management skills - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills - Experience with inventory control, forecasting, and material planning - Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field - ISO 9001 knowledge - Lean Manufacturing experience - Semiconductor, electronics, photonics, medical device, or other high-tech manufacturing environments | | Other Information: - Clean, organized manufacturing and cleanroom environment - PPE provided for cleanroom access - Compensation & Benefits - $45-$55 per hour, depending on experience If you’re ready to make an impact in a growing high-tech manufacturing operation and have the experience to keep production running efficiently, we’d love to hear from you.
