Psychological and Addictive Disorders Services Practicums and Internships

The Psychology and Addictive Disorders Department serves our inpatient and outpatient programs. We offer full-time APA accredited predoctoral psychology internships, full-time postdoctoral psychology fellowships, and part-time practicum placements for master’s prepared psychology trainees, pre-master’s counseling trainees, and pre-master’s MFT trainees. Our supervisors include licensed psychologists, LPCCs, and LMFTs.

Interns and trainees gain valuable experience in:

• Short Term and Long Term Individual Psychotherapy
• Crisis Intervention and Risk Assessment
• Psychological Assessment and Report Writing
• Case Conceptualization
• Safety Planning
• Leadership Skills/Multi-disciplinary Team Participation
• Presentations and Public Speaking
• Didactic Training
