The Job:
- Work directly with Publisher and Associate Editor
- Draft and submit pitches to local media
- Write press releases
- Work directly with social media interns
- Assist/coordinate efforts with vendors for TV segments
- Qualify potential writers and contributors
- Review potential product highlights/features
Qualifications:
- Must have great copy-editing skills
- Contemporary style/AP style
- Must work well under deadline pressure
- Must have laptop and smartphone
Position: Part-time, unpaid
