Job Overview
At TE Connectivity, you’ll help bring our purpose to life by creating a safer, sustainable, productive and connected future. Your role as an Intern in the Digital Data Networks Business Unit, will help us make the connections that move the world forward by:
- Performing mechanical design with Computer Aided Design and Finite Element Analysis
- Coordinating with the machine shop, additive manufacturing lab, and test lab to validate designs
- Coordinate and perform mechanical product testing
Responsibilities

- Work closely with experienced engineers on connector related projects
- Gain exposure to manufacturing processes such as stamping, forming, plating, molding, machining, and additive manufacturing.
- Gain insight into the world of connector development.
You’re the kind of person we are looking for if you:
- Have earned a high school diploma or GED
- Are currently enrolled in, or pursuing, a BA/BS or MA/MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university—or have equivalent work experience (gap year students may also be considered).
- Preferably have prior internship experience or have completed a major project
- Are authorized to work in the U.S.
