Research Student Assistant - Advanced Technologies

Research Student

• Assist faculty and research staff with ongoing research projects and related activities.
• Assist with collecting, organizing, cleaning, and analyzing research data.
• Assist in developing surveys, questionnaires, interview materials, experiments, or other research instruments.
• Occasionally assist the department with outreach activities, such as STEM Day, Meet and Greet, High School Upward Bound visits.
• Assist with preparation of research reports, abstracts, posters, presentations, manuscripts, and other scholarly materials.
• Participate in research meetings, seminars, conferences, workshops, and presentations as appropriate.
• Perform other research-related duties as assigned.

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at the institution.
• Demonstrated interest in research and the subject area related to the assigned project.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a research team.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or comparable productivity software.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain accurate records.

• Ability to analyze information and draw appropriate conclusions.
• Effective time-management and organizational skills.
• Professionalism, dependability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to communicate effectively with faculty, students, researchers, and other stakeholders.
