RESPIRATORY CARE INTERN I, FH - RESPIRATORY CARE

This job is ON - SITE. FTE: 0.001000 Standard Hours:4.0 Shift: Shift 4 Flexible scheduling to support your education. Shift start times include 6am, 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 6pm.

Work 4-8 hours per day. Minimum 8 hours per week. Job Summary: Performs basic duties to support the Respiratory Care Staff in accordance with the hospital's objectives, policies and procedures.

The individual will have a mentor identified for resource and support. Other duties as assigned. Other information: EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: Experience working in a patient care setting (hospital, nursing home) is preferred.

Inventory/stocking experience is preferred. EDUCATION REQUIRED: Current enrollment in an accredited Respiratory Therapy

Education Program is required. Student will remain in good standing. EDUCATION PREFERRED: High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

TRAINING PREFERRED: Equipment processing and cleaning training. SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: Organization/Time management. Good communication skills.

LICENSURE REQUIRED: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
