Duties & Responsibilities

  • Attend academy practices, camps, games, and events to capture original video content.
  • Host upbeat interviews with players and coaches.
  • Develop recurring segments, such as “Who would last longest without their phone?”, teammate superlatives, and quick soccer challenges.
  • Pitch timely ideas and adapt social trends to fit the academy’s audience.
  • Film and edit vertical videos with clear audio, captions, and strong pacing.
  • Work with the academy marketing team to review and approve content before publication.
  • Keep participation voluntary and content age-appropriate, positive, and respectful, following academy permissions and filming guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in college and eligible to receive academic credit.
  • Comfortable appearing on camera and approaching new people.
  • Ability to build rapport with youth players and coaches.
  • Understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and short-form storytelling.
  • Basic filming and video editing skills using tools such as CapCut or Adobe Premiere.
  • Reliable, collaborative, and available for evening and weekend academy activities.

Application Requirements

Please submit a résumé, and two or three video samples. Include at least one example of you speaking on camera or interviewing someone. A sample created specifically for this application is welcome.
