Position Overview

The Riverhounds Development Academy is seeking a Social Media & Graphic Design Intern to help promote academy programs and showcase our players, teams, and community. This internship combines graphic design, social media planning, and digital storytelling. The intern will help create content that celebrates academy accomplishments, highlights the player experience, and builds awareness of training programs, camps, and events. This role is dedicated to the Riverhounds Development Academy and is ideal for a student interested in sports marketing, design, and social media.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design graphics for academy social media, program promotions, player features, team accomplishments, and events.
• Draft captions and help maintain an organized social media content calendar.
• Adapt approved designs for different platforms while maintaining academy branding.
• Turn photography and video assets into engaging posts, Stories, and short-form content.
• Coordinate with academy staff to gather information, verify details, and identify timely stories.
• Assist with scheduling approved content and reviewing performance to inform future ideas.
• Follow academy guidelines for featuring youth participants.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college and eligible to receive academic credit.
• Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
• Understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and platform-specific content.
• Strong writing skills and attention to spelling, accuracy, and visual consistency.
• Ability to manage deadlines, respond to feedback, and collaborate.
• Availability for occasional academy activities, including evenings and weekends.
